Myra is truly blessed to be an Outer Banker; like many, she relocated to this piece of paradise. Originally an elementary school teacher with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Old Dominion University, upon relocating to the Outer Banks she took a leave of absence from teaching to help her husband build a business in real estate. The teacher became a student, taking courses in real estate, obtaining her license in 1981, and she never returned to the classroom: she had found another passion and was committed to a new course, a new choice!
Having served on many boards, committees and organizations, she currently Chairs the Dare County Tourist Bureau, serves on the Outer Banks Hospital Development Council and the TowneBank Board, as well as the Board of the Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce.
Myra cannot think of any client or fellow business person that has not become a friend. Her priority as your agent is assisting you in making the right decision at the right price.
