I am honored to be able to leave a review for Marie. Let me start off by saying I am a first time home buyer and my wife and I had absolutely no idea what we were doing when we chose to start this journey of looking to purchase a home. We were petrified of the "idea" of owning a home and all the responsibilities/stresses that came along with it. However, Marie has helped us channel our "idea" of owning a home into a reality to actively prepare and now shopping/bidding our on first home! If I had to point out her top strengths, it would be her truly "LISTENING" to what your interests/needs are and responding with accurate/professional/heartfelt/inspiring responses. She also is the most knowledgeable, informative and detailed oriented Real estate agent I've come across. I can literally go on and on about her but once you think her guidance is the icing on the cake, you find out her many years in the business has aligned her with some of the best affiliates in the real estate business. Every single one of her recommendations/referrals has been gold mines. From Loan officers to other real estate agents for other areas of NJ to Lawyers to .... everything you can think of. Now that we are some time into our home buying process, we are so much more educated, confident and fearless to get our first home. I will end this review with a little inspiration that Marie texted my wife when my wife texted her that she was stressing over moving forward with purchasing a home....... Marie said "By the way, nervous is a good thing, it means that you are about to do something important and worthwhile!" Thank you Marie!!

UPDATE: Since writing that review, we successfully purchased our first home and couldn't be happier! The very first package we received was a heartfelt gift from Marie which seeing our names with the new address on the package for the first time, made it REAL. Weeks after we moved in she continued to check in with us and give us great advice and tips on new home ownership! She made her self available, guided, and supported us through the entire process. She helped us to understand the market and created the perfect strategy for our house sale. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to have met Marie. I met Marie a few years ago when she helped me find an Ironbound apartment to rent. She was so great that I can back to her with my partner one year later to help us find a condo within the Ironbound to buy. Marie found us the perfect condo to purchase and helped us through the process. She answered every phone call and had weekly updates. Marie also made sure our lawyer and loan specialist were up to speed and had everything they needed. Marie was not just a realtor to me, but she became a friend. Marie once again surpassed my goals and expectations when it came to my real estate venture! She first helped me purchase my condo, and now she successfully helped me sell and close within a month. The original goal was to sell by Christmas and she sold before Thanksgiving! She had amazing expertise on what needed to be done to sell the unit (staging, renovations, cleanings, etc.) and all of her advice led me to getting an offer within only a week. There were also 6 other units on the market, yet her creative marketing and very hands on approach allowed us to beat out any competition within record time. I am a first time home-buyer that moved from NYC to NJ and I had the best experience working with Marie on my first home purchase and I'm so happy I did.

Highlights:
1. Marie is knowledgeable about all aspects of the home buying process. She was even schooling my home inspector when he performed the inspection and stood up for me when I did not understand something (which I appreciated as someone with limited home experience)

2. Marie has character - she worked principles and ethics throughout. I appreciate that she measures her words carefully and respects her craft. No matter what the situation, I knew I could trust her point of view.

3. Marie was able to answer all questions I had about renovations, next steps, and her experience with first home purchases. Marie helped me figure out how renovations work, what activities to consider, and always has recommendations if asked.
