As snowbirds from Canada, we were looking for a winter home in Florida. Our experience working with Nadine was exceptional. Nadine explained the procedure for property transfers in Florida in an easy to understand manner. I first met Nadine in November 2006 when we came to Daytona Beach for a 1 week vacation and I stopped into her office to let her know that my husband and I were looking to buy a winter home in the area within the next year. Nadine set us up for an email “listing cart” that provided us with up to the minute new listings in our price range, and we experienced no pressure whatsoever to move forward. When we returned this winter and met again with Nadine we let her know we were ready to move when the right house became available. Once we were “ready for a walk-through”, Nadine was there for us to arrange showings immediately, and when we found a property that met our criteria, she was able to submit our offer without delay. She explained the foreclosure process and kept us informed daily on the progress. Once the offer was excepted, Nadine immediately arranged for the necessary resources for inspection. Even though there were a few snags with the seller due to property lien issues that needed to be resolved, she worked tirelessly on our behalf, always with a smile and excited encouragement. She was professional and thorough. She arranged and attended the closing with the title company and also provided us with a list of service providers to meet with to prepare the house to be “move in ready” in record time.. Nadine is a knowledgeable, fun, realtor who had our bests interests in mind throughout and worked “above and beyond” to ensure that our experience in purchasing our retirement property in Florida was positive and informative in every way. We would highly recommend Nadine Caldwell to anyone looking to invest in real estate in and around the Daytona Beach area. Her interest in providing us with the best possible experience was outstanding. We now consider Nadine a good friend to connect with each year as we return for the Winter. When my husband and I were preparing our move from Decatur, IL to the Daytona Beach Area, things were very hectic to say the least. Putting our house on the market and finding something in Florida to match our expectations became overwhelming. We were connected to a Realtor, by phone, in the area we were planning on. By miscommunication or whatever, that Realtor was showing us, by internet, homes that were far less than we had imagined for what we could pay. For our anniversary in May, we decided to make a trip to the Daytona Area and to look for some of the homes we were shown on-line. While slowly driving up and down the streets we were less than disappointed at what we were seeing. However, we noticed a "For Sale" sign in the yard of house with a different realty and agent. We wrote down the number and made a call to Nadine at ReMax Realty. I could say and the rest is history; but if it weren't for Nadine and her endless, tiring and exhausting efforts I truly don't know what we could have done. Nadine went far over and above what most would consider normal. Nadine notified us right away when she felt our first "find" was not a good "find" and although we were disappointed, Nadine didn't give up. Again, in July, we made yet another trip to the Daytona Area with our main object being looking for a home to purchase. We met with Nadine and for two straight days we traveled the streets from Ormand Beach to Port Orange, FL. When we did find our new home, Nadine did all the running, paperwork, and talking on the phone while Jack and I prepared for our move back in Illinois. Even though our nerves were frenzied Nadine never lost her professionalism; Nadine calmed us when we were distressed. Finally the deal was closed and we were on our way to our new lifestyle. When we discovered the people we had found to help us move in wasn't going to help, even Nadine gave us names of men who would perhaps help. After moving to Port Orange, Nadine continued to help us with paperwork from Illinois; copying and faxing. In conclusion, Nadine is a real person, a sincere person wanting to help you and your family take possession of your new home.
