Nancy Briggs is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Visual Design.
She obtained her North Carolina real estate sales license in 1995 and became a licensed Broker in 2001. She has been a real-estate magazine publisher, and co-owner and supervising Broker of a residential lease referral business.
Born on a US Air Force base in England, Nancy lived in Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, South Carolina, and Rocky Mount, North Carolina before settling in Cary in 1989. She has a first-hand understanding of the joys, uncertainties, and vast “to-do lists” inherent in the relocation process.
Nancy was co-owner and co-publisher of the Guest Guides: hard-cover in-room hotel books with information on shopping, dining, attractions, and real estate in The Triangle region of North Carolina as well as in The Triad, Charlotte, and four other regions in North and South Carolina, Virginia, and Tennessee. Nancy was co-founder and co-publisher of The Apartment Book and New Homes & Ideas magazine. Both won numerous awards including Housing Guides of America’s national “Guide of the Year,” and the Triangle Sales and Marketing Council’s MAME (Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence) “Best of the Best,” along with numerous other recognitions for overall excellence, and for industry and community involvement.
Nancy participates in housing-related community and regional associations and ministries including the Raleigh-Wake County Homebuilders Association and the Appalachia Service Project. She is a life-long Girl Scout and serves on the Area Administrative Team. Her hobbies include hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, daughters, and grandchildren.
