She educated me in the home buying process ( I was a first time home buyer ) and she made recommendations that genuinely kept my family's best interest in the forefront. I don't think five stars are enough nor I feel that this review allows me to truly expand on how enjoyable Nancy made this difficult process for me. My agent kept me apprised of the communications between he, the title company, and Nancy. Although I only ever had indirect communications Nancy, I was consistently and thoroughly impressed with her attention to detail in emails, proactive nature, positivity, collegiality, professionalism, and skill. 8/1/2016 Virginia Q. Woodbridge, VA Nancy is an amazing agent! My condo in DC sold within less than a week and more than what it listed. I also had multiple offers. What I appreciated most about Nancy is how she makes your needs a priority, while juggling many others. At not one point during our interaction did I feel like I was waiting on information, updates, etc. Nancy is also the most transparent and forthcoming agent I've worked with. The selling process was seamless working with her. Lastly, Nancy's main concern was that I was making the right decision. She helped me talk through this decision and fought for my personal well-being. If you are buying or selling, Nancy is hands down THE best Real Estate agent. As long as I'm in the DC, VA, MD area, will not work with anyone else.

5/22/2015 Kokayi W. Washington, DC Nancy is a godsend and a close family friend, normally this would lend the reader to discredit the review. However, one also would understand that mixing business with family oft time results in lost ties and hurt feelings. We were not wary given that we had experienced Nancy's work ethic from the periphery. Ever on the go, phone in hand, notes in close proximity, she was always about the business of her business. So when we were looking to make the transition from renting to owning our first home we placed our trust and faith in Nancy. She did not disappoint, with patience and professionalism she walked us through the steps to home ownership, never selling us candy coated dreams or doling out euphemisms, she gave us the straight unadulterated truth when needed and held our collective hands when the 1st house of our dreams was actually a money pit in disguise. I felt super special, i thought we were getting the family and friends treatment, I was excited and proud to see that we were not the only ones to benefit from her expertise. She treated every client the same way; special. Ms. Miranda and (I feel awkward referring to her in this manner) is both tenacious and caring and places her clients needs at the forefront. My family and I are very happy in our home and we know that without Nancy we would have gotten a home, but the process would have left us with a far different experience than the one that we were blessed to have. When my sister returned from Atlanta and was looking for a new home i immediately forwarded Nancy's number to her.

4/26/2015 Chris P. Washington, DC First, let me say that I am picky. I was looking for a house for LONG time (15 months), and Nancy Miranda was the 5th agent that I talked to and the 3rd agent that I worked with during my search for a house in the DC area. Out of all of the other agents whom I dealt with, Nancy had the best combination of actually listening to what I wanted and was looking for while making helpful suggestions of neighborhoods/houses that I had not previously considered. She was excellent about getting back to me quickly each time that I wanted to see a place. Within a few days, she got me into a house with difficult tenants that my previous agent could not get me into see despite weeks of trying. Even though I am somebody who did extensive research on my own, she did not slack off and still would run searches and send me properties to consider. She would give me her opinion when asked but followed what I wanted to do, whether it was exactly what she recommended or not. She is a very good balance of proactive and responsive. She delivered a much higher level of service than any of the other agents I worked with. She even got up on her associate's shoulders to see into the attic crawl space for me in a house that I was very excited about. I always heard back from her in a timely manner and felt like a valued customer. And when I finally found the house that I would eventually buy last fall, she helped me get into see it right away even though she was out of town. AND when the lender I'd been working with pulled some last-minute shenanigans, Nancy quickly identified another lender she'd used before who could close my loan in record time. I originally wanted to work with her because of a recommendation from a friend and her involvement with the community, and now I enthusiastically recommend her to anybody in Hawaii or the DC area who needs a super-competent agent.

1/6/2016 Prathima K. Washington, DC As a first time homebuyer, Nancy made this process look so simple and easy. She spent time really listening to what I was looking for, and when I was ready she knew exactly which places to show. She was always super available and always answered all my questions (and there were a lot). When we did hit some bumps in closing and home inspections, she stepped up and made sure everything was fixed without me multiple times until it was done right. By the time I walked back in, we were ready to sign the papers. She always has your best interest in mind and will tell you the truth. On top of being a great agent, she really spent the time to get to know her clients and make you feel as comfortable as possible through the process. I can't imagine how I would have done this without her.

5/4/2016 Deborah L. Hanover, MD Nancy recently helped me purchase a new townhome in Maryland. I was moving to the area from Texas and didn't really know exactly what I wanted. I flew out for a house-hunting trip with my mom, and Nancy showed us a wide variety of properties, all over the DC/MD area. Her knowledge of this area is tremendous, and she really tried pinpointing what I liked to help me narrow things down. I wound up flying back out on short notice to look at more properties, and signed a contract on a new construction townhome. She had no problems meeting me and showing me more houses on short notice. She stayed in contact with me and made sure I didn't have any issues or concerns that she could help address while construction was ongoing. I closed 2 weeks ago on my beautiful new townhome, and I couldn't have done it without her help!
