Nancy obtained her real estate broker’s license in 1987. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her graduate degree from the University of Houston. She has been active in community activities that include volunteering with public schools and with her church where she chaired the Humanitarian Ministry for the Homeless. She also worked with Children’s Protective Services, and was a charter member of The Nancy Owens Memorial Foundation (www.nancyowens.org), which has raised almost $2 million for breast cancer research since 2002.
