Nanette was fantastic! She shepherded me through the entire process of selling my home. Everything from the photo shoot to the closing, she provided recommendations, professional advice and suggestions. I was relocating and needed to sell quickly, but thanks to her advice I still sold my property for more than I expected to get for it. I highly recommend her.

My husband and I have used Nannette's services on two separate occasions. The first transaction was about six years ago and involved the purchase of a condo in a Chicago suburb.. The second was in 2020 when we purchased a single-family home in a different suburb. The common elements to each of these sales were Nannette's extraordinary professional and people skills. She replied to our phone calls, text messages and emails in a timely manner. She patiently answered all of our questions. Nannette made suggestions on a number of topics, from the price with the offer, the counter, the home inspection, etc. We were thrilled to have a person with her knowledge working with us. We plan to sell a property in 2021 and we will use Nannette's services again. She is easy to work with and has her client's best interests at heart.

My husband and I first contacted Nanette when we were thinking about making the move from downtown Chicago to Glen Ellyn. She met with us to learn about our likes and dislikes and made careful note about what would fit our needs. Since we had no concrete timeline, Nanette was patient and a great resource. I can not recommend Nanette more highly. We have a growing family and needed a little more space, wanted to get into an excellent school district, and live in, geographically, a more kid-friendly area. Early in the process, Nanette advised us on the best time of year to sell our existing house. So we waited a bit. When the time came, she offered subtle advice as to how to stage our house and make it attractive to buyers, what to fix and what to leave as-is. She came by on a Thursday to take pictures, Friday morning it was on the market. Friday night we get a call that a family wanted to see it soon. Saturday morning, said family takes a look at our house. On Saturday afternoon, I got a call from my wife that we get an offer for our asking price! 2 or 3 more people looked at it that weekend before we fully negotiated and got the ernest money. She recommended a real estate attorney and home inspector that also worked well. Closed on that house shortly after and sold it for our asking price. Nanette did such a great job that we could not deny her services on the buying end. We looked at some open houses on our own and then toured 4 houses with Nanette once we were set on an area that we liked. She did all of the work for us (even while out of the country) and with her knowledge of the area, the house and the market, we were able to negotiate the sellers down $36,000, plus a bit more after the home inspection. She always returns phone calls, e-mails and text messages in a timely manner which is imperative when selling and buying a house. We closed on that house earlier this week. They talk about how stressful buying and selling a house is. I guess it is to a degree, but for the most part, the 4-month process of selling and then buying was a breeze with Nanette.~Rachael Egge

My condo association was holding my place hostage. There was no president in our association thus no one stepped up to get the much needed documents to the realtors when we had interested buyers. Before meeting Nanette Bauer, I would have told you that I considered little as stressful as selling a home and I've lived in and moved out of many through the years. After fifteen years in our Naperville home, with our once noisy nest missing our three now grown sons, we decided it was time to downsize. In the usual confusion of choosing a realtor, we received the referral of a lifetime. Enter Nanette Bauer. Literally all chaos stilled as this women entered our home for the first time with her soft voice and a cadence that was as close to a lullaby as I can imagine. Nanette represented us both in the purchase of our condo and the sale of our former home. Here knowledge of the current process was quite helpful in that we had not been involved in real estate since 1977. Things have changed a great deal since then. She was most helpful in the sale of our former home. We got on the market a little late (August) but the response was robust and we had two offers very quickly.
