Nelvia’s greatest work has been motherhood. Her family is her why. Husband, Todd, their children, Madison and Maxwell, as well as fur baby, Sasha Fierce, are the reasons she works so hard.

She channels free time and energy volunteering with philanthropic organizations that support families, education, and the well-being of communities. Nelvia supports organizations including Women’s Impact Fund and Good Friends Charlotte. She serves on the Executive Board for the Chapter Chapter of Jack and Jill of America. Several years ago while serving as a board member for buildON, a nonprofit that constructs new schools in some of the world’s most economically poor countries, she recruited her husband for a special mission project. Together, they raised the funds necessary to build a primary school in a remote Nicaraguan village.

It was an experience that left her with gratitude, an appreciation for the bigger picture, and the drive to be a better human for all.
