My name is Lorena. I live in Michigan and inherited an estate in Thermal, CA. Thermal is not the most well-known city in California, but I’m not complaining. It took a long time to get through probate (to administer the estate) and we wound up in a crunch against time and possible foreclosure on the property. My goal was to sell the property and avoid the loss before foreclosure.

We took a chance and contacted a local real estate agent, Nilda Cancino and Abel Rios, both from Re/Max Legacy Real Estate. They immediately contacted us to assess my situation. Within 24 hours, they had a plan of action, which included tasks that I needed to complete. Even though I was not physically there, they recommended and coordinated updates to the property, hauling and repair in preparation for the sale. At every step, they sought my approval and initiated the action with precision and at a cost that added value to the sale.

Within 30 days of my initial contact, the estate was ready for sale and we had our first potential buyer. They worked to negotiate and secure a price that resulted in a cash buy. This sale was timely and prevented any potential for foreclosure and loss of the estate.

I can not express my excitement and appreciation to this professional team of real estate agents. Both Nilda and Abel were seamless in their coordination and made us feel like we were always there in California. They restored my faith in people and what they can do when they truly care.
