Licensed since 2007, I bring extensive business, marketing, and networking skills to the table. I have always been a problem solver, which fits nicely with real estate because each transaction is uniquely different from one another. I have served on The board of the Newport County Board of Realtors (NCBR) from 1994-2021 and on the board of directors of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors (RIAR) from 2018-2021 I have been on the Ri Association of Realtors Governance board since 2022 to current. As well as the Multiple Listing Service board since 2019. My peers awarded me with both the Gloria Slavens Award (2016) and Realtor of the Year. (2018)
I was born in Long Island, New York, where I spent a lot of time on the water and would visit my grandmother in Newport every summer. Many of my first cousins that I grew up with now also own homes here in Newport. I moved to Boston’s Back Bay after I graduated from Ohio Wesleyan where I majored in Fine Arts (graphic design) and minored in Accounting. In Boston, I worked for Fidelity Investments in their retirement distribution sector and ran projects for major system enhancements. I lived in both Boston and Newport for a few years before purchasing a home in Newport and moving here permanently in 2005.
I maintain my involvement in the area and have been on several boards: The Potter League for Animals, The Easton’s Point Association, Rhody Squash, and currently on the Middletown Tax assessor board.
Outside of Real Estate, I like to travel all over the world and am lucky to have been to many places. If you see me, I may be walking my dogs or with a racquet in my hand. I play tennis, paddle tennis, squash, racquetball, pickle, and recently picked up court tennis. In the summers I ride my scooter around and do a bit of sailing.
