Norma Cardenas

Born and raised in Edinburg, I have a BBA with a minor in English. After teaching business subjects for ten years, I retired after 20 years as a hospital administrator. Retirement didn't work for me - I need to be busy and active, so I became a realtor in 2012. My family has over 110 years in the real estate industry, so it was a logical move for me. I love meeting new clients and helping them through the selling or buying process! I have been involved in the community all my adult life, serving on numerous civic and charitible boards and organizations. These include two terms as a McAllen ISD Trustee, Leadership McAllen, and the McAllen Chamber of Commerce. I was honored as McAllen's 1990 Woman of the Year and received a national award from my college sorority, Kappa Delta, for community service. There is so much growth and potential in The Rio Grande Valley and I so appreciate being a part of it!
