About Oscar
Coming from a customer service background, Oscar started his career as a Customer Sales Representative for a national wireless service provider, where he learned the value of listening to customers and serving their needs through effective communication and implementation of better practices. During this time, Oscar was running a promotional/concert business as well as putting himself through college, where he eventually earned a double major in Marketing and Management from The University of Texas at El Paso.
As a college graduate with a degree in Marketing and Management, Oscar decided to pursue a career in real estate and received his real estate license in 2006. He immediately signed up with the company that most embraced his standards of quality and excellence, RE/MAX Associates. Today, Oscar is still going strong with this company, making sure that his clients' needs are met and interests are thoroughly protected.

Oscar's Reviews

Oscar was a good listener and worked around our schedule. He met with us on the weekends. As first-time home owners, we were clueless and nervous about the buying process, but Oscar was very patient and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. In addition, we were very unsure of whether we should move to El Paso. We talked to Oscar and he did a decent job of selling the city.... Fast forward a bit, and I am now living in my new house in El Paso and I could not be happier. He helped us get just the right house for my family, we are both happy as far as what we wanted. He listened to what we needed/and or wanted and it all worked out.

I hate real estate. It is a pain in the you know what and it never goes how you want it to. I wanted to purchase a home that my wife and I could raise a family in and after 20 years of school plus another 5 of paying back college debt, we were finally able to go after the home we felt we deserved. We had 2 problems. 1) We had to sell our home we bought right after college. 2) We had to decide the best neighborhood to fill our needs including the schools where we would be confortable having our kids attend. After an extensive meeting with Oscar where he took the time to explain the home buying/selling process and what we can expect. Additionally, he set realistic expectations, some of which I was not happy about, regarding the sale of our home. I felt comfortable enough to use him as our realtor and I am very happy I did. Things did not always go as smoothly as I had hoped, but I was satisfied with the end result, which was selling our home at an acceptable price and getting into a home that we could call our own. I sincerely thank Oscar for being there every step of the way and making a daunting task into something manageable.

Where can I start? I recently moved down to El Paso and I have always been in love with older homes. I had to live in Central El Paso. The homes seem more solid than the new ones built out of sheet rock, etc. The main problem..... They are older homes. So we looked and looked for over 3 months. Oscar was patient with us and to my surprise (this wasn't my first time buying a home and had dealt with realtors before) he listened to what I said and understood that even though I had some money to use on repairs in addition to my down payment, that the monthly payment was very important to me. Originally, I was approved for $127,000, but after discussing financing options with him, in conjunction with what I was looking for, area, type of home, etc., we decided to go with a home priced just over $100,000. This gave me the home I was looking for and left me with some money to do the repairs I wanted, giving me and my wife the home we envisioned. I recommend Mr. Beltran whenever a friend or aquaintance is looking for a realtor and in the future, once my wife and I get our careers going, I will use him again.
