Dr. Oscar Chavez is a proven entrepreneur, business leader, professor, and veterinarian with a progressive career founded upon a solid commitment to integrity, ongoing and never ending personal growth, effective leadership, and developing others. He offers decades of business and real estate expertise that help his clients achieve top results.

Dr. Chavez grew up with two childhood dreams 1) follow in his mother's (and family's) legacy in Real Estate and 2) to become a veterinarian. He has had the incredible privilege of living both dreams.

Dr. Chavez is able to bring his clients a visceral knowledge of the industry and practical guidance to help them meet their own Real Estate needs and build their own portfolio. He grew up in Southern California raised in a family rooted in Real Estate. His mother was a renowned, award winning and nationally recognized agent in one of countries' largest real estate brokerages. Most of his family followed in her footsteps. In addition to growing up "speaking" Real Estate, he is also a lifelong, seasoned real estate investor. It is this authentic personal experience in Real Estate that allows him to be your best advocate and partner.

Dr. Chavez first became a licensed real estate salesperson in 2000, after graduating from the University of California at Berkeley. He opened a branch office for his family's boutique Real Estate brokerage in Huntington Beach, California. This is also when he first started personally investing in Real Estate.

In addition to Real Estate, Dr. Chavez's childhood passion was also veterinary medicine. Upon being accepted to veterinary school, he decided to pause his real estate salesperson career for the opportunity to pursue his other calling. In 2006, he graduated from the #1 veterinary school in the world. What followed over the next 15 years was an exceptional and impactful career as a renowned veterinarian, educator, and author.

In 2012, Dr. Chavez also completed a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California at Irvine. In 2013 he joined the founding executive team of JustFoodForDogs, a novel healthy fresh pet food brand, as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Chavez led a team of veterinarians that helped disrupt the pet food industry and created an entirely novel category of healthier pet food. In 2021, after nearly a decade of building a brand and business that has become the #1 veterinary recommended fresh pet food in the nation, he felt the time was perfect for him to return to his career in Real Estate.

Disrupting a $40 billion dollar industry and building a national brand was not easy. It required flawless execution of multiple strategic plans, impeccable marketing, innovative thinking, leadership, and countless of negotiations. Dr. Chavez will put his proven professionalism to work for you, always advocate for your best interest, and help you achieve ultimate results.

Dr. Chavez is a loving husband and father of two gorgeous babies. He is also the proud pet parent of Bruce and Harley, two amazing dogs! His family really enjoys camping, a new passion that grew out of necessity during the pandemic, ice Hockey (he himself plays), anything outdoors, staying active, eating healthy "real" food, and helping others.
