Oscar Salas

Oscar Salas, a focused, driven, and resourceful realtor®, has joined the Brown Harris Stevens Sales team. Born and raised in Mexico City, Oscar moved to Chicago at the age of nineteen to pursue his college education while simultaneously working at a real estate company. As an assistant to one of the top agents at the brokerage, Oscar learned first-hand the intricacies of real estate and instantly fell in love. It would be years later that real estate would become his singular focus.

While still in college, Oscar worked at one of the largest freights forwarding companies and was eventually promoted to Business Development Manager of the Southeast Asia region. The company moved him to Hong Kong in 2009 and then to Manila, Philippines in 2011.

While living in Asia, he worked in sales, built new strategies to increase traffic and strengthened relationships with clients and vendors. Soon after, he became Business Development Manager of Latin America, based in Miami, and never looked back.

Due to the increase in cost of living, he sought out other opportunities, which led him to Real Estate. Realizing a huge opportunity and endless potential, he secured his license in 2014 and started working part time, while still working full time at the coordination company. By the end of 2014, he transitioned full time into real estate and his passion drove his success. In fact, in his first year as a full-time realtor he was recognized as the #8 top producing agent companywide. Since then, he continues to lead real estate sales and rentals.
Fluent in Spanish (native tongue), English and intermediate Portuguese, Oscar now manages a large portfolio of foreign nationals looking to purchase and invest in Miami. With most sales focused on the condominium market within Downtown Miami, Brickell and Edgewater, Oscar continues to expand his reach, targeting the single-family home sector as well.
