About Pamela
Beginning her career as a REALTOR® at 22 years of age, Long later transitioned to broker/owner of Pam Long Appraisal Services in Nixa, Missouri, where she remains dedicated to not only her trade but serving her community and people throughout the world. In fact, Long’s volunteer work has taken her as far as Honduras and Haiti, where she served as a member of the World Missionary Team.
Locally, Long is a member of the Christian County GOP, Christian County Prayer Group, Christian County Board of Equalization, and is an active volunteer with Shriner’s Hospital and an avid supporter of Nixa school sports programs. But it doesn’t stop there – Long also founded the Step-by-Step Prayer Group, focused on feeding hundreds of community members in need. Additionally, for the past seven years, Long has dedicated numerous hours to the Veterans Coming Home Center. Serving approximately 150-300 individuals monthly, Long works to secure food, clothing, and additional necessities that are critical to the area’s homeless population. On average, Long dedicates more than 40 hours each month to serving her community.
Regarding Long’s career involvement, she continues to remain active at the local, state, and national levels. Noting her highest career achievement, Long referenced being selected by the National Association of REALTORS® to serve as a committee member on the Real Property Valuation Committee. In 2018, Long was named GSBOR’s recipient of the Margaret Martin Cooperative Spirit Award. She also received GSBOR’s Kirk Hewitt Award for her dedication to community outreach, specific to assisting community members in need. Long currently serves as the MLS President for GSBOR and is a state director for Missouri REALTORS®.
In addition to Long’s numerous awards and accolades, she was selected to participate in Missouri REALTORS® 2021/2022 Leadership Academy. Long will graduate as a member of the 2022 Leadership Academy Class during Missouri REALTORS®' upcoming Fall Business Conference, September 20-22 in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Above all, Long is most thankful for her husband and wonderful children and grandchildren. "They are the light of my life," Long stated.
