In her free time, she enjoys watching birds in her backyard, going on bird walks, working in her yard, listening to music, watching sports, being with friends and family, and spending time with her Himalayan kitties, Max and Misty. She is also an avid Bird and Nature photographer and serves as a Mecklenburg Audubon Society Board Member as the Conservation Chair. Additionally, she volunteers at The Carolina Raptor Center, monitoring active eagle nests.
