Pat Vernon began her real estate career in 1988 as the office manager for a real estate company specializing in land and industrial sales. After getting her real estate license and moving to South Florida, she decided to specialize in residential sales and has been a full-time active realtor since then. She has been with Camelot Inc., Realtors since 1996 and has extensive experience in corporate relocation, 55+ communities, first- time home buyers, distressed properties, short sales and working with investors.
Pat lived in Palm Harbor with her husband, who retired from sports management, three years ago. They live in a very active 55+ community called Highland Lakes and she is presently the block captain for their neighborhood. Their son, Gerod, works in Tampa for an insurance company.
An almost native Floridian, her family moved to Florida from Indiana when she was 13, and she moved to Atlanta in 1969 after college. After marrying in Atlanta, she moved with her husband to Seattle and Chicago before they settled back in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1987. Finally, they moved to South Florida in 1989 for her husband's position with the Miami Dolphins.
Before real estate, she worked as the office manager for a dentist in Clearwater, the office manager for a CPA firm in Seattle and the assistant to a home developer in Chicago.
