About Patrick

A San Diego native and third-generation real estate professional, Patrick Cairncross has dedicated fourteen years to continuing a family tradition of representing buyers and sellers in San Diego’s most exclusive coastal neighborhoods. His work is defined by discretion, enduring client relationships, and an uncompromising standard for how properties are presented, positioned, and sold.

A graduate of the University of Southern California, Patrick began his real estate career at twenty-two in New York City with The Corcoran Group. His early experience in Manhattan broadened his perspective on negotiation, marketing, and client representation—insight he brought back to San Diego when he partnered with his father, Steve Cairncross, a long-established leader in the coastal market.

Patrick is a principal of Team Cairncross at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, one of San Diego County’s most consistently top ranked small teams. Over the past five years, the team has averaged nearly $170 million in annual sales volume and 78 closed transactions per year. Actively engaged within the brokerage community and supported by a deep past-client network, Patrick’s team framework and relationships provide meaningful advantages for buyers seeking more opportunities and for sellers looking to position their properties before the most relevant and influential participants in the market.

On a personal note, Patrick married his high school sweetheart and is a father of three bilingual French-American kids. He enjoys surfing, running, and playing drums.
