Patrick Ethridge. Just know you when you work with Patrick, you will be working with a top 10% tier, hard-worker. My situation: I am active duty servicemember who needed a home quick, fast and in-a-hurry for my wife and child who were living clear across the state of California. I was renting in the meantime without my family and finally got the time to start shopping for homes. So for me and my spouse to view homes together was done in a very short window to accommodate her travel dates (primarily short notice weekends). Patrick worked with my wife (at the time he hadn’t met in person) over the phone to coordinate home visit and make the most of the time we had. Everything my wife requested, he met. When it came to meet and start the journey of home shopping, Patrick was not pushy, not acting like a salesman, just chill and full of smiles. He maximized our time, by lining up homes in a logical manner so we weren’t criss-crossing all over the county. He devoted his time to us. There were times he had a call come, I told him to go ahead and take it. He politely told me “Its okay,” demonstrating that he wanted to keep his attention to us and not juggling calls and being rude. His experience with renovations in his previous line of work allowed him to provide some insight and he answered our questions regarding repair/furnishing upgrades to the best of his ability. Now when it came to put bids in for homes, this is where he shined. His turn-around time for offers/counter-offers/amendments was impeccable! He used DocuSign (a very user friendly website, that also has a phone/tablet mobile site so it makes it real easy to use on your phone on-the-go) to keep the paperwork pushed to the sellers. When it came down to getting an offer in to the seller, Patrick was like a bloodhound. Absolutely resilient and kept me and my wife in informed (via emails and texts/group texts) every step of the way. Patrick was available nearly every hour in the day. He is one the most patient men I have met. I real plus for a person such as myself who is extremely impatient. I mention this because we had a bit of a panic moment and need some immediate feedback. So we contacted Patrick late in the evening (rude on our part) and he handled himself superbly. Patient to listen, and composed to respond and went to work on addressing our concerns to provide a resolution. Other Realtors would have sent us to voice mail and maybe give a call first thing in the morning. Not Patrick, he stayed on top of it. Even after our final home inspection, he remained in touch and went the extra step to ensure no loose strings were left. I will certainly recommend Patrick to anyone who asks me about buying a home in Oceanside/Vista/San Marcos/Escondido.
