Patti Frankenfield

Born in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of a Naval Officer whose career moved the family to Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Hawaii and then to Virginia Beach. Married in 1981, her husband Barry and Patti also lived in Vermont, Massachusetts, Richmond, Warrenton, and Norfolk, Virginia. Their love of the Beach brought them back to this area in the fall of 1984.

Her husband, Barry is a Landscape Architect, an ASLA Fellow since 2008, and is retiring in 2019 from his work as the Planning Director for the City of Virginia Beach. Longtime residents of the neighborhood of Alanton, they are the parents of three adult sons, all graduates of Virginia Colleges. They have fun at their house with rivalries from William and Mary, UVA (Undergrad, Nursing School, and the Law School) and Virginia Tech! They are also grandparents of twin girls, born in December 2015, and two more sweet girl, born in July 2016 and September 2018! Joyful additions to their family!

In addition to working full time as a Real Estate Professional, Patti is a member of the Alanton Garden Club, serve as a MOP’s Mentor at Virginia Beach United Methodist Church, and host an at home Bible Study group of friends. Her husband and she are members of Eastern Shore Episcopal Church, where Patti serves on the Vestry. She is a trained Stephen Leader and served in Stephen Ministry for eight years at Virginia Beach United Methodist Church. Having learned intentional listening and caring skills in that Ministry, her passion is listening, then helping people make good transitions in their lives, where those transitions intersect with Real Estate!
