Paul Esslinger

Paul is a lifelong resident of Oshkosh and has a wife and two children. He obtained an associate degree in Marketing from Fox Valley Technical College in Oshkosh and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Marian College in Fond du Lac and currently holds a Wisconsin Real Estate License. Civic activities include serving on the Oshkosh Common Council from 2000-2011 and serving as Mayor of the City of Oshkosh from 2009-2011. The boards and commissions he has served on are the City of Oshkosh’s Plan Commission, the Traffic Review Advisory Board, and the Chair of the City’s Landmarks Commission. Paul also was a member of the Planning Committee for the Pollock Community Water Park. The Oshkosh Committee on Aging awarded Paul the 2004 Verl Franz Distinguished Leadership Award. Paul is also a past Ambassador for the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce. In his spare time, Paul is the co-host of the locally produced show “Oshkosh Diaries,” a show that highlights people that have made significant contributions to Oshkosh. This show can is aired on cable access Channel 2 (Time Warner Cable).
