Married and the father of two grown sons, my wife and I have made Greenwood our home all of our married life. Our sons attended both Greenwood and Center Grove schools before graduating and moving on to college and their careers. We currently are members of Southland Community Chruch and are actively involved therein. Additionally, I have served on the Wheeler Mission Ministries Board of Directors including a three-year term as Board President. I have also head ledership positions as one of the founding board members of Greenwood Christian Academy and President of the Taylor University Alumni Association during two sparate terms of board service.
Through my adult life I have been blessed to be able to pursue many personal interests, including scuba diving on the wreck of the Atocha off Key West Florida, attending racing schools, and art instruction at the Indianapolis Art Center in Broad Ripple. I have been fortunate to be able to travel extensively around the United States, Caribbean, and Western Europe. Athletically, I have completed three full 26.1 mile marathons including The New York City Marathon, 23 half marathons, and have ridden a bicycle across the United States twice. Finally, as an avid reader, I am currently collecting and reading all the Pulitizer Prize winning works of fiction in additional to the 100 Greatest Books Ever Written.
Professionally, I have been a Real Estate Broker for over 30 years in addition to involvement in various business management, operational, and real estate development enterprises.
