About Paul
I grew up in the Midwest, in the small, rural town of Pell Lake, WI, which easily could have substituted for Mayberry. It was the type of town where everyone knew your name, people didn’t lock their doors at night and kids played outside from sun up to sun down. In middle and high school, I worked for my father at his lumber yard, where I was taught the importance of true customer service skills. Growing up in this atmosphere helped instill in me the virtue of honesty and the sense of community.
Before going to college, I worked in the service industry and from there I owned my own small restaurant for a number of years. It was at the restaurant that I learned the value of preparation and commitment. After leaving the restaurant business, I went to college and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in history. I then went to the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and received my Master of Arts in Public History and Certificate in Museum Studies. After graduation in 2004, I moved to St. Augustine to work for the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum as the Director of Maritime Education.
I left St. Augustine in 2006 to become the Curator of Education for the Orange County Regional History Center. It was in Orlando where I met my wife and where my son was born. Our goal was always to move to beautiful St. Augustine to raise our family, and we were fortunate for this to happen in 2013. I soon left museum work to concentrate on my career in real estate.
I believe that a good Realtor® is one that has a passion for real estate, but also is one that is honest, has excellent customer service skills and is committed to his or her customer. I am that Realtor. I will use those skills and values from my youth and other endeavors to be that Realtor for you. If you think it’s expensive to hire a Professional wait until you hire an Amateur. Call Paul today to help you buy or sell your home!
