Paula has been in Real Estate for 12 years now. She got into Real Estate to help individuals and families reach their goals and dreams of buying and selling their homes. The Real Estate process can be very overwhelming, and Paula prides herself on helping clients understand the process every step of the way.
Paula and her husband of 24 years have two children, and they live in Schertz, a small town located between San Antonio and New Braunfels. Paula’s children are the pride and joy of her life! Paula’s son is a Junior at Texas State University. His major is Wildlife Biology. When not at school you can find him fishing and Bouldering. Paula’s daughter headed off to Texas A&M University in July 2022. She is majoring in Animal Science with the goal of becoming a large animal Veterinarian. She is currently doing an internship at a local veterinary hospital. Paula graduated from Southwest Texas State University and taught elementary school for 15 years in San Antonio before going into Real Estate.
Paula joined Pam Smartt in 2010 and together they formed The Smartt Team, Your Smartt Texas Realtors. Having grown up in this area Paula can be a trusted resource for answers about the community. Paula has always been involved within her community and still is today. Paula has previously served on the Board of Directors for Four Rivers Association of Realtors in 2018 and 2019. Paula has been on the Scholarship Committee since becoming a Realtor in 2010 and has previously served as the Co-Chair of the Programs committee for our association. Paula is active in The Chamber, The Women’s Council of Realtors, where she served as the 2017 President, and the 2016 President Elect. Paula is also active in TREPAC. Currently she is an Ambassador for The Chamber (Schertz, Cibolo, Selma) and serves on ALC for Keller Williams (Agent Leadership Council).
Paula is a 2020 graduate of the Texas Realtor Leadership Program. In 2011, she received the New Braunfels Board of Realtors Rookie of the Year award. Also, in December of 2015, she received the Women’s Council of Realtors Entrepreneur of the Year. In 2020 she was a graduate of the Texas Realtor Leadership Program.
