Since 1990, Paula has had a successful history serving the real estate community in the Los Angeles area. Her insight, perspective and expertise are in part shaped by a real estate career that began at Jon Douglas Company. With sales from Pasadena/Altadena to Malibu, Paula has consistently been a top producer for Sotheby’s International Realty and was awarded President’s Circle and top 3% Nationwide Realtor’s Award by the Prudential John Douglas Company.
In 1999, Paula opened the Sotheby’s International Realty - Brentwood location and her career as a top tier agent continued with the Sotheby’s International Realty brand at offices in Beverly Hills and Pacific Palisades, where she has served since 2008.
Specializing in single-family homes and estates throughout the Westside of Los Angeles, Paula also maintains membership in local, statewide, and national real estate associations. She has served as Assistant Manager of Sotheby’s International Realty - Pacific Palisades brokerage and is currently ranked in the top 500 of nationwide agents for NRT, the parent company of Sotheby’s International Realty, Coldwell Banker and Century 21.
Originally from Texas, Paula earned a bachelor’s degree in English and History from Southern Methodist University. She completed her graduate work at UCLA and UC San Diego and has a lifetime teaching credential in both Texas and California for secondary through Junior College. She brings to her successful career a background in teaching for the Santa Monica Unified School District. Among her many accomplishments, Paula founded the computer lab at Lincoln Middle School and secured playground equipment for the Santa Monica Unified Schools as well as Los Angeles Charter Schools.
As a longtime resident of the Westside, Paula is dedicated to her community as well as her vocation. In addition to her full-time real estate career, she is involved in many charitable organizations in her area, including Habitat for Humanity and the Junior League of Los Angeles, and helps raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis and the American Cancer Society. In recognition of her tremendous contributions and efforts, she was honored as the recipient of Santa Monica’s Community Service Award in 1988.
