I would highly recommend Pauline to anyone looking to purchase real estate in the downtown Jersey City area. I was a first time buyer and met Pauline randomly at an open house. We quickly discovered that the building was well outside my price range. At this point, most agents would have blown me off, but Pauline kept talking to me and asking open ended questions to learn what I was looking for. She also shared tons of great information about the area. We set up a meeting and she showed me several places staying within the guidelines I gave her. She showed me one place slightly out of the price limit I initially provided (but warned me about that upfront...it was not a surprise) and that was the one I ended up buying. I would not have considered it if she didn't suggest it. She was very helpful during the negotiation process and gave me the reality check I needed on pricing in the area by sharing comparables, what they sold for, and how long they were on the market. This allowed me to make an offer I was comfortable with. She also shared strategies to protect myself from getting caught up in the emotions of a bidding war. Even after the offer was accepted, Pauline was there every step of the way once even meeting me outside standard office hours to accommodate my busy work schedule at the time. She has a great network of contacts to help go from lining up financing to accepted offer to close that she shares, but never pushes on you.
