In 1961 Pedro arrived in America, as a teenager, with only the clothes on his back and $100 in his pocket. Knowing very little English, he joined the U.S. Air Force, and it was only through hard work, determination, and gaining the trust, respect, and admiration of others that Pedro could take what he learned from sheer survival instincts. Combined with the high standards and discipline installed in him during his time served in the United States Armed Forces, he has become a highly successful businessman and community leader.
From his humble beginnings in the United States, Pedro eventually rose to be in the top 1% of all California Real Estate Agents, Vice President and Marketing Director for one of the Nation's largest Title companies, Founder and former Director of Tamalpais Bank, sits on the Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations; all this, in addition to being named Marin Latino Businessman of the Year 2007 and former Director of Fair Housing-Marin 1984 and 2002. For those who know him, Pedro Reyes not only serves the community but is recognized, appreciated, and respected by and within the community he serves.
While Pedro performed at the highest levels with the large, "corporate," "franchise-type" real estate firms, he always felt something was missing. That "something" was an emphasis on personalized service, treating each transaction based on its own merits and the client's personal needs (not always required to adhere to a strict set of "corporate" ideals and Sales Quota inspired guidelines), along with a sense of community; our clients are also our neighbors and should be treated as such.
