Peggy Jorgensen serves Fairfield County buyers and sellers with a hands-on, advisory approach that is ethical, empathetic and highly successful. She is a driven and passionate agent who prioritizes her clients above anything else, and they, in turn, are drawn to her dynamic personality and ambitious spirit. Dedicated to upholding the highest standard of ethics, Peggy has made clients feel at ease with her trusted guidance and expertise for more than 15 years.
As one of six children, Peggy traces her love of real estate to childhood when times spent alone with her mother touring antique stores and visiting opening houses are among her fondest memories. While she worked as an educator for nearly 40 years in Greenwich and Weston, Connecticut, she always knew that she'd work in real estate one day. In fact, Peggy's teaching background is instrumental to who she is as a realtor. Flexible, nimble, creative, and resourceful, she's able to navigate even the most daunting challenges with ease. Peggy relates to people from all walks of life and excels at forging relationships. Her empathy and negotiating skills are the perfect antidote to the stressors of buying and selling, while her perseverance means she will never stop until the deal is done. Above all, Peggy relies on her well-honed teaching skills to ensure buyers and sellers understand every facet of the process and feel empowered to make the best possible decision for their unique circumstances.
Her devotion to her ongoing education — including her Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) and Coldwell Banker Global Luxury certification credentials — is a testament to her desire to always serve her clients to the best of her abilities. At her previous brokerage, Peggy received the 2017 International President's Elite Award given to the top 3 percent of agents internationally, the 2015 International Diamond Society for agents in the top 11 percent, and Top 1000 NRT Sales Associate recognition in 2014.
Originally from Minneapolis, Peggy earned a bachelor's degree in education from Concordia College in Bronxville, New York, and a master's from Fairfield University. She lived in Greenwich and Stamford before settling in bucolic Redding, where she loves the peace of country living within easy reach of bustling cities. In her free time, you'll find Peggy gardening, enjoying time with her many friends, having a blast with her three amazing daughters, playing pickleball, dancing, or spending time with her husband on their boat.
Peggy is also a true believer in giving of her time and talents and currently sits on the Westport Museum of History and Culture board of directors and serves as a Compass Care Champion, leading the region's charitable giving. She is also a member of St Andrews Lutheran Church in Ridgefield, where she serves on the church council. During her teaching career, Peggy developed the award-winning Mock Trial program at Weston Middle School and Weston High School. Additionally, she served many years volunteering with National Charity League, Alzheimer’s Board of Directors for Fairfield County, Civics First Board of Directors, Area Nine Cable Council, Speech and Debate at Sacred Heart Greenwich and the HORD Foundation.
