Penny Fletcher

It all started in the San Francisco Bay area, but Colorado was calling her family, so off with the sandals and on with the ski boots. Penny’s family settled in Littleton, Colorado where she grew up and attended college at CSU followed by earning a degree from the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing and Radiologic Science. Eager to start a career in healthcare, Penny served as a manager at Boulder Memorial Hospital Trauma CT Unit. It was during her college reunions in Steamboat Springs, she fell in love with the town and Routt County. One road trip to Steamboat turned into a permanent stay. She has a great passion for the wonderful community, friendly locals, incredible natural beauty and recreational opportunities afforded to Steamboat Springs residents.

Over thirty years ago, Penny transitioned to a career as a Real Estate professional. This change allowed her to enjoy the incredible Steamboat quality of life while raising a family. As her children grew up in Steamboat, they dreamed of becoming Olympic skiers. The flexibility of her real estate career provided her family the opportunity to participate in and enjoy the advancement of her son’s athletic careers. Penny has traveled all around the world watching her Olympic sons, Bryan and Taylor Fletcher, soar through the air as members of the US Nordic Combined Ski Team.

Penny spends her spare time actively fundraising for several worthy causes including the Leukemia Society, Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, Old Town Hot Springs, and Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide. She has been recognized for her accomplishments throughout her Real Estate career and she values the working relationships she has with fellow brokers. Penny served on the Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors for 8 years and also served as their chairman. It is her goal to help her clients make their next real estate purchase a successful, stress-free experience.
