Penny Sheppard

Penny was born and raised in Huntington New York and moved to Tega Cay with her husband George & daughter Emma in 2006. Passionate about problem-solving, Penny is a Nationally Certified Housing Counselor. Certified in Pre-purchase Education, Financial Literacy and Foreclosure Prevention, she has helped well over 700 families gain or retain home ownership, educating them on money management, how to overcome credit obstacles, and in the case of foreclosure prevention, working directly with mortgage companies. After more than 15 years as a counselor, Penny has decided to get closer to the process and become a Buyers Specialist. She brings a passion and a wealth of knowledge about home ownership, home loans, overcoming financial hurdles when necessary and down payment assistance programs. She loves working one on one with home buyers to bring them the best purchase process possible.
