Per & Helena Nordstrom have been involved in real estate transactions since the mid 1980's, both as investors and as developers. Together they form an energetic team - TEAM NORDSTROM - dedicated to offer luxury real estate services for their client´s satisfaction through professionalism and care. Originally from Sweden, Per and Helena bring their international experience, competence, and network to the transaction. International buyers are an increasingly important group in the Florida real estate market, often neglected when selling a home. Per and Helena have the network, education, and resources to also reach this group of buyers. Together they have an extensive background within finance, marketing, and sales. Over the years, they have continued to obtain various certifications and designations with the sole purpose to serve your interests in the best conceivable way and in every step of your real estate transaction and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Certified Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI), NAR Green Designation, Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). They are also Certified Negotiation Experts to make sure they negotiate the best price for you. Helena is also a notary in the State of Florida.

After they both graduated from the Stockholm University business school in Sweden, Per worked in several management positions for Ford Motor Company in Europe. Helena went into banking and the financing industry before Per was offered a partnership in one of Sweden's largest ski resorts, and the young family decided to make the move. Per was responsible for sales and marketing as well as running a property management company, renting more than 450 condominiums in the ski resort. Per also became a real estate developer as he has built, operated, purchased and sold more than 100 condominiums and homes within the ski resort.

After having vacationed in the beautiful Sarasota area for many years, they switched out the snow and the cold weather for good for the warm Florida sun in 2001 and moved with their three children from Sweden to Sarasota. Today empty nesters, Per and Helena are still convinced Sarasota is the premier place to call home.

They still love skiing out west visiting one of their sons in Utah and avid golfers while in Florida. Per and Helena are experienced sailors and boaters, and Per is one of the elite Master Laser racing sailors in the nation.
