Pete Kontaxes is a graduate of California State University of Pennsylvania. He retired after a successful teaching career in the state of Pennsylvania and started a second career as a physics teacher at Laramie High School, where during the summer months he worked in home construction and roofing. Pete and his wife Patricia have 4 children and three grandchildren. He and his wife own horses and love to ride, hunt and fish the mountains all around the Laramie area.
