Peter Filmer

A long-time resident of Pierce County, Realtor Peter Filmer grew up in Tacoma, moved to Gig Harbor in 1985, and has lived there ever since! Peter is dedicated to opening doors around the Sound for his clients and is eager to serve them. Driven to do his best, he strives to go above and beyond for the buyers and sellers he works with, and believes they deserve nothing less than that.

After spending almost 15 years with Nordstrom in both sales and management, Peter decided to focus his customer service skills on selling real estate. He knows that buying a new home is one of the largest purchases of most people’s lives and is also a lifestyle decision for those who may live in their chosen home for a lifetime! Because of this, Peter feels that it’s absolutely critical to have great listening skills—he knows that he is guiding people through the process of not only purchasing a home, but he is also helping them to learn about the area and culture of the neighborhood. This includes so many things, including showing clients local schools, shopping opportunities, golf courses, marinas, gyms, and just the general community experience. Listening to clients enables him to help them ultimately choose the right area for their lifestyle needs and wants.

When Peter isn’t working with his clients, he enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible! Hiking, skiing, playing golf and just being out on the water boating are some of his favorite activities.
