About Peter

Pete Moegenburg graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a BBA in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics in 1982, and in 1985, he received an MS in Real Estate Appraisal and Investment Analysis from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

Pete Moegenburg entered the professional real estate business in 1985 - first with Aldrich, Eastman and Waltch (AEW) in Boston, and continuing with Aetna Realty Investors in Hartford, Connecticut. He began his formal career in real estate valuation in 1989 with Chicago-based Gloodt Associates, and formed Milwaukee-based Moegenburg Research, Inc. in 1994. Pete received the MAI designation in 1992.

Pete Moegenburg is a Certified General Appraiser in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota and Ohio, and has completed the continuing education requirements for the Appraisal Institute. In his appraisal experience, Pete has appraised and analyzed a wide variety of commercial property, and provided critical appraisal, consultation and litigation services to a diverse range of clients located throughout the nation.

Pete Moegenburg has been actively involved with the University of Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association, serving on the Board of Directors from 1995 through 2001. Additional professional affiliations include the Urban Land Institute, Real Estate Alliance for Charity, the Door County Land Trust, and the Boy Scouts of America.

Pete Moegenburg has been appointed to the Real Estate Appraisers Application Advisory Committee, Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services, serving since 2014.

Peter Moegenburg received the designation of ASA (Accredited Senior Appraiser), conferred by the American Society of Appraisers, in March, 2015.
