Petrina Tyree - a native of Buckingham County, is an entrepreneur. Petrina attended Buckingham County Public Schools, After graduating, Petrina attended Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia, and obtained a degree in accounting. After several years and positions in Accounting and Auditing, she became a part-time real estate agent. She joined her mother, partnering with her company, Tyree Realty. Being led by her favorite scripture, Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," Petrina decided to step out on faith; she pivoted from having dual careers and became a full-time agent.
Passionate about creating new homeownership and generational wealth, Petrina is the Local Board President of the Realtist Chapter of Richmond, A National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) Chapter. NAREB, the oldest African-American trade organization, was founded in 1947 to create "Democracy in Housing." It has 75 chapters across the United States and Ghana.
In addition to being a Realtor with Tyree Realty, Petrina is also a Mobile Notary and Loan Signing Agent. Because of her love of cooking, she also has been a Pampered Chef Consultant for over 15 years. Petrina recently started Tyree Partners LLC, a management and consulting company.
In addition to being a member of several professional organizations such as the National Association of Realtors, the Virginia Realtors, the Chamber of Commerce, and others, Petrina is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Chesterfield Chapter of the Virginia State University Alumni Association, and the NAACP. Furthermore, she has been on the Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity Home Services committee for over ten years.
