Phil Barton, a true Texan, was born in Abilene, TX, on Dyess Air Force Base while his father was serving in the Air Force. Shortly thereafter, his family made several moves across Texas and landed in Houston, where he grew up. After graduating, Phil attended several universities, including Texas Tech, University of Houston, and Texas State, while earning his counseling license.
Phil’s drive to help families heal in times of crisis brought him and his wife to Austin in 2005, a city already considered as their “second home.” His love of live music, mountain biking, and a relaxed environment made the ATX the perfect place to grow his family and career. Phil served families and individuals through counseling at several non-profit organizations, including The SAFE Alliance, for 20 years until shifting his focus to Real Estate.
Phil’s decision to earn his Real Estate license in 2010 was made not only because of his love for homes and communities but as another means to help individuals and families achieve their dreams and aspirations.
Phil lives with his wife and two amazing children in south Austin. They love traveling, camping, and laughing together while always looking for new ways to improve their communities.
Phil has successfully helped families buy, sell, and lease homes all over Austin and the surrounding areas, with a focus and expertise in South and West Austin. He takes extra effort to truly understand his clients, help them fully understand the process, and work with all parties involved to ensure the smoothest process and most successful outcome possible. Through assisting in staging consultations, recommending trustworthy and experienced technicians and service providers, hosting open houses, and working professionally with other Realtors, he helps his clients achieve the most positive outcome possible.
