My husband and I were so impressed with Phil and Kelly Thornton and are so grateful to have them as our realtors. They are exceptionally well informed about their marketplace, and are such kind, decent, and thoughtful people. They developed a plan and estimates of costs and offered feedback on preparing and staging our house. They recommended contractors, including ones they use themselves. They engaged a photographer with a drone to take spectacular photographs of the house from above. They also had a photographer create a 3D walkthrough video, plus they included advertising in brochures for a local event. We tried to reimburse them, but they said it was covered by the standard commission. When the house went on the market, Phil and Kelly were checking the fast-changing market every day and calling us. Thanks to their skills and diligence, the house sold for more than $100K over the asking price. Going to settlement with Phil and with Bruce Clark felt more like a fun social gathering rather a legal chore. Phil and Kelly stayed with this project all the way to making sure that the new owners were happily settled in their new home. They made what we had expected to be a stressful experience into something pleasant and friendly and an expression of values we admire. There is good reason why they have received so many awards, including Greater Piedmont Realtor of the Year!

We had a tough long road to getting our house sold. When most realtors would have given up, Philip kept us moving forward, managed every bump in the road and assisted us every step of the way. We are beyond happy and thankful we had him in our corner. In an impossible situation Philip never gave up and we got the best deal, better than we ever expected. You cannot go wrong seeking their help in buying or selling your property. They are the most honest, hardworking folks I have ever met. They went way above and beyond for us. As we planned our transition to sunny Florida, our concern was finding a realtor that could work for us while still doing our community right. We have relocated 5 times in our lives. Feeling this to be our last move, the Thorton team provided the best transition for me and my family. The great conversations and knowledgeable staff was very promising and felt very comfortable making the decisions on our. E half. The most important ingredients in business are integrity, competence and a friendly demeanor. Phil and Kelly have these qualities in spades!! Their understanding of current market trends resulted in me receiving top dollar while also selling quickly (one day!!!!). They were responsive, professional and a pleasure to work with. I give the HIGHEST POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATION to them, these are the people you want to help you. My only regret is that my wife and I could not also utilize them to purchase, since we moved to Tennessee.

Stop looking and call Phil. It took about 10 different contractors and a lot of headaches for Phil to get my house to closing. Phil dealt with every single contractor multiple times ensuring the problems went away. We got to closing on time, and he was able to get $10,000 over my asking price, all while I was working overseas. Stop looking and call Phil.

Phil and Kelly Thornton at Remax is the only call you need to make. Over the years they have listed and sold 5 properties for us. Prior to Phil and Kelly we were with a different agent at a different company. They were sloppy with the details in the contract and only seemed to care about making a sale. In the end when the contract fell through it cost us thousands of dollars in attorney fees to avoid being sued ( which the agent did not reimburse for even though they made the mistake). Having the right agent really does make a difference. Phil and Kelly will keep you out of trouble and there market knowledge will help get you properly sold. Our last transaction was listed on a Friday and we had a contract on Sunday. We are completely satisfied with Phil and Kelly and have no cons for them.
