After years in management in the hospitality industry, Philip decided to make a career change into real estate in 2021. He quickly rose to one of the top producers in North Alabama selling over 80 million dollars and over 100 homes in his career. He is now Team Lead/Owner of The Wright Bunch team brokered by MeritHouse Realty which is a growing team of 14 REALTORS. He also serves as Director of Agent Development for MeritHouse, and is an Alabama Licensed Instructor for Alabama Real Estate, while continually helping his clients buy & sell properties. In his real estate career, Philip has received several awards including the Rising Star Award in 2021, Spirit Award in 2022, and the AAR Mickey Phillips REALTORS for Children Award in 2022. 2024 Senator Arthur Orr Young Professional of the year Decatur Morgan County Chamber of Commerce. He currently serves as the President Elect of the Morgan County Association of Realtors and serves on multiple committees within the Association.
Beyond his role in the real estate industry, Philip actively contributes to the betterment of the community. As a devoted husband, foster parent, and youth pastor, his life is a testament to compassion and service. Philip and his wife, Vickie, ensure their home is a sanctuary for children in need, where love and stability are the cornerstone of their nurturing environment.
Philip has had a long standing dedication to community service. Philip serves as a Commodore for the Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce and is a recent graduate of the Excellence in Leadership program. He also serves on the Old State Bank Committee, Republican Executive Committee, and is a member of Kiwanis and Elks Lodge. He was an integral part of the Sheriff’s Posse for 15 years, including serving as past Treasurer, supporting special needs children in our area.
