Representing luxury coastal real estate across Orange County, including Monarch Beach, Laguna Beach, Corona del Mar and Newport Beach, Phillip Caruso specializes in pairing families, individuals, and investors with exceptional homes. He has established himself among the area’s notable agents and among the top 1% in Orange County, bringing vision, integrity, development knowledge and an eye for design to The Agency. With over $350 million in personal career sales, he was named MVP of The Agency Orange County in 2019–2020, and among the Top 143 Agent teams in California by The Wall Street Journal.

Philip partners with Michael Caruso, one of Orange County’s foremost real estate brokers, to deliver a seamless real estate experience to his clients. In 2018, they opened the first Orange County storefront office for the firm in Corona del Mar, and shortly after added another in Laguna Beach. Highly skilled at identifying and underwriting value-add projects, Phillip often represents developers and clients in the purchase and sale of a home, advising on design and build from inception to completion. Recently, his 2021 development project “The Nottingham House” in Newport Beach set the new record for the highest sale in the history of interior Dover Shores.

A second-generation agent, Phillip grew up in a family immersed in the world of real estate, learning the ins and outs of the business from his father. He followed his passion for architecture, design, and development, becoming an investment analyst at a local commercial real estate firm while underwriting and marketing a multitude of apartment buildings. Along with representing buyers and sellers, he began his residential career working with investors to rehabilitate properties along the Orange County coast.

A local of Newport Beach, Phillip is enthusiastic about coastal preservation and enjoys working with Surfrider Foundation, as well as Habitat for Humanity and Give Back Homes. When he is not serving his clients in real estate, he cherishes time with his family, his wife Michelle, daughter Natalia and labradoodle Kaiya. Phillip enjoys the outdoors, golfing, surfing, and playing acoustic guitar. He is a graduate of The University of Arizona holds a BA in Regional Development & Sustainability and Business Management.
