Phu was born in Monterey Park, California, and spent most of his childhood in the Inland Empire. After earning a degree in political science from Wesleyan University, Phu worked in various roles in marketing, business development, and operations. He obtained his California real estate license in 2017 and began a full-time career in the field. A lifelong learner, Phu later obtained his Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) certification to best represent his clients.
