He gained national recognition while playing basketball for Roselle Catholic High School in New Jersey, where he helped lead the team to an impressive 26-4 record and the NJSIAA state championship during his junior and senior seasons.

After high school, Pierre attended Division 1 Monmouth University, where he pursued a degree in Communications and Business. During his time at Monmouth, he balanced his academic responsibilities with his athletic commitments, where he contributed significantly to the Hawks' basketball program for three years. In his senior year, he transferred to Binghamton University, continuing his studies and further honing his communication and business skills while ranking third in the America East Conference for his basketball performance.
