About Preston
As a California Mortgage Specialist and Licensed Real Estate Broker since 1991, Preston Howard offers unique commercial and residential real estate financing options through Rose City Realty Finance, including for those who would not normally qualify for traditional loans.
While earning his MBA at the University of Southern California with a specialization in Real Estate Finance, Mr. Howard learned the in’s and out’s of real estate financing, which is the key to building a portfolio of assets to acquire wealth. In that pursuit, he interned with Wells Fargo Bank in their Real Estate Management Assets Group where he learned to perform financial analyses of distressed loans and assets. After graduating from USC, he went to work for Wells Fargo’s Real Estate Group at their Commercial Finance Division in Irvine and Pasadena, California.
In 1999, he founded Rose City Realty (incorporated in 2002) with the mission of providing real estate financing solutions with corporate knowledge and a personal touch. Over the past 25+ years, Preston has built valuable relationships with an ever-increasing stable of trusted advisors, wealth managers, estate and trust attorneys, high net-worth individuals, and others in banking, insurance, and pension and debt funds. It is these valuable relationships which distinguish Rose City Realty Finance and make them a superior financing option to fulfill most every client’s needs.
In 2016, Mr. Howard was certified as an “Expert Witness” for Probate Court in the Country of Los Angeles to testify on cases involving Real Estate Financing. Known to possess an exceptional capacity for remembering names, numbers, and figures from years past, Preston speaks five languages: English, Armenian, Spanish, Mandarin and Cantonese. He has an active history with many real estate industry and professional associations, including: ProVisors, USC Real Estate Alumni and Friends (REAF), and formerly served on the Board of Development and the President’s Circle Committee for Pasadena City College Foundation.
