About Rachael
Designated Managing Broker & REALTOR®, Rachael Real, has been a full-time licensed real estate broker since April 2015. With a focus on the western suburbs of Chicago, Rachael puts years of experience, knowledge, and connections to work for you, whether you are buying or selling a home. Rachael believes in raising the bar and providing an exceptional experience to all of her clients. To that end, Rachael has received several designations over the years including Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource (SFR), Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), as well as attended hands-on workshops on staging and preparing a home for the market.
Rachael has served as a member of the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® Professional Standards Committee since 2015, and was recognized with Mainstreet's 2025 Outstanding Committee Member award for her work with Professional Standards. This Committee is broken down into Hearing Panels that are assigned to hear ethics complaints made against other REALTOR® members that have been forwarded from the Grievance Committee. The function of the Hearing Panel is to conduct a full due process hearing with sworn testimony, witnesses, and evidence. After conducting the hearing, the Hearing Panel decides whether there was a violation of the Code of Ethics. In an ethics hearing, the Hearing Panel then determines the discipline to be imposed on the violator. Both REALTOR® members, as well as members of the public, are able to file complaints with their local board.
Rachael is also a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the Illinois Association of REALTORS® (IAR), Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® (More), and Midwest Real Estate Data LLC (MRED).
Rachael was born and raised in Elmhurst, graduating from York High School in 1993. After high school, Rachael purchased her first home in Glendale Heights. She also resided in Bolingbrook and Villa Park before settling in Lombard in 2003, where she and her husband (a guy with the best last name for real estate) raised two sons. Rachael also has a ridiculous love of dogs and relishes in the company of her recently rescued/foster-failed tripod goldendoodle, Hattie. She also fosters "tinies" for Tiny N Tall Rescue.
Rachael enjoys all aspects of real estate, especially renovations. Rachael has renovated several properties over the years and has a keen eye for function, always looking to remove a wall... or 3. Rachael has worked alongside homeowners who require anything from cleaning & a quick coat of paint to removing walls and making spaces more functional, so they appeal to the largest buyer pool possible.
While data has never been more readily available to those in the market to buy or sell a home, interpreting and navigating the data has never been more important. This is what Rachael does. Rachael will guide you through the process from preparation to closing, while keeping your best interests at the forefront every time.
