Rachel Francois

Hi, My name is Rachel Francois, & I am a Realtor who specializes in Georgetown, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Cedar Park, Leander, Hutto, and the greater North Austin metro area.

I am a native Texan, born in Houston & reared East Texas. I lived in the Houston area for numerous years, yet I have also lived in Spain, Ireland, Costa Rica, and Italy. I moved to Austin over 14 years ago to marry my best friend and long-time love, Chad.

Before getting into real estate, I taught public school for 14 years, having taught Spanish and Latin to grades 6-12. The various school committees I served on throughout the years as well as the preparation & communication skills required to be a good teacher provided me valuable skills that I transferred to my real estate career. Not only am I organized and punctual, but I am a skilled negotiator and effective communicator.

My educational background includes a B.A. with a dual major in Spanish & English as well as a M.ED. with a dual emphasis in Teacher Leadership & Pedagogy & Second Language Acquisition.

Additionally, I have achieved the status of Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) by completing many hours of education as well as having completed a minimum number of transactions with clients from other countries. I am a member of both the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce & the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce. I speak Spanish, Irish (just a little now), Italian, and I am in the process of studying Korean.
