Homes.com Review

My wife and I live in Pennsylvania and decided to purchase a home in Myrtle Beach earlier this year. We looked at homes and researched neighborhoods online over a few months and decided to visit the area in person and look at homes late summer. We solicited local agent recommendations from friends and colleagues and contacted those along with several others listed as 'top agents' on various sites. None of those agents responded to our request (emails, web site, phone calls) to help us view houses during our visit - not even a courtesy reply indicating a lack of interest. We found Rachel's information online and sent an email with the same request and went out to dinner. By the time we arrived at the restaurant, she had responded and we quickly setup a call for the following day. Rachel asked us many questions about the type of home we were looking for, our plans, and lifestyle. She took the homes that we had saved and incorporated homes in neighborhoods that we had not considered and some that were not yet on the market to create a weekend tour of homes. Rachel even took the time to preview a number of properties prior to our visit and crossed a few off the list based on our tastes - saving us time. Our visit couldn't have gone any smoother. Rachel showed us over 20 houses in several neighborhoods over two days. She clearly knew the pros and cons of each neighborhood and property and explained available amenities in the local area. When we narrowed our choice down to a couple of properties, Rachel got us in for a second look on short notice. Buying a property remotely is challenging and Rachel make that process easy. She helped us find a home inspector and closing company and represented us locally for the inspection and walkthrough. She's stayed in touch after the sale and made sure that everything was OK after the hurricane blew through. We had a very minor issue and Rachel sent over a recommendation for a contractor that could help us out. We could not be more fortunate to have found Rachel and would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell in the Myrtle Beach area.

Rachel Schel is a fantastic woman, she found me a house that is absolutely perfect. You tell her what your looking for and she finds it. She is very patient and passionate. She comes very highly recommend by me. I wouldn't have anyone else do my real-estate needs.
