About Rachel
Growing up, she used to LOVE going to open houses with her mom, but it wasn’t until she went through the home buying process herself that she realized how overwhelming it could be and how important it was to have a knowledgeable guide. She never anticipated how proud she would be of herself, and how powerful she would feel purchasing her own home. She wants to help other people do that. She loves Philadelphia. She’s watched her grow over the years into a world-class city with a huge personality, uniquely her own.
She wants to share it all! In 2008 she graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Graphic Design. She swung through Philadelphia on her way to job hunt in NYC and decided to make this city her home. She bought a heavy-duty U-lock for her bike and moved into a microscopic 180 SF studio in Center City on Walnut Street. She eventually moved to the Graduate Hospital area, before finally buying her home in Fishtown in 2013.
Prior to obtaining her real estate license and joining the Philly Home Girls, she worked as a Graphic Designer. She was first introduced to the world of commercial real estate while working in the CBRE Marketing Department. She joined the Philly Home Girls so she could draw real value from the work she does and the relationships she nurtures. She wants to help people not only find their ideal home, but also guide them as they invest themselves in the city.
It is her goal to help her clients plant their roots and continue to grow and improve our city’s neighborhoods, communities and schools. When she's not fiddling with keys and lockboxes, you can find her tooling around on her bike, checking out pop-up beer gardens and taking pictures of her cat.
