I will start saying that Mr. Rafael Barbosa is an honest and resourceful agent. Even assisting on those cumbersome arrangements the real state management make for property owners to follow. He knows how to deal with them. His valuable support helped to expedite the process for me to allow an excellent tenant, he was able to select. I will certainly recommend Mr. Barbosa to deal with the photos, open house and selection of potential tenants. It’s been a pleasure having his professional support and working with him.

Rafael was our agent for finding our first apartment upon moving to NYC, and we had a great experience, so we were definitely going to ask him to help us purchase an apartment about a decade later. He was fantastic—warm, patient, informative, firm in negotiations, and I will even say, wise. We had to switch away from our initial choice of apartments which was kind of a torment, but he handled everything effortlessly. We definitely felt like we had someone excellent in our camp and would happily recommend him. He’s excellent with communication, has a broad eye on properties in the area we worked with (and over much of the broader area as well), is very well known and respected in the industry, has an eagle eye for quirks with apartments that could cause trouble (caught something for us during our final walk-through), and has a great sense of what properties might suit his clients. A million stars!

First things first, Rafael is the absolute best! I was a first-time homebuyer and admittedly had a lot of anxiety about that. Rafael not only put me at ease, helping guide me through the daunting process, but at every step of the way, I felt that he had my best interest in mind. He advised me on the state of the real estate market and gave me honest assessments of what I could and could not afford. He soon became a valuable and trusted resource I relied on greatly. Whether you live in NYC, Westchester, or Queens…..you have to use Ralph. He is detail oriented, honest, and has the intuition to know exactly what you are looking for. I have known Rafael Barbosa for years both as a neighbour and as a real estate agent. A few years ago, Rafael sold an apartment I had in Manhattan. My experience was so positive that I recently asked Rafael to sell the other apartment I had in the City. In both cases, I saw first hand how experienced, responsive and passionate about his job Rafael is.
He studies carefully the market in the area the apartment is. He is knowledgeable about the overall real estate trends. The sale price recommendation he makes is based on a thorough analysis. Rafael explains clearly and frankly to the seller what is positive and what is problematic about the unit and the neighbourhood, and why he suggests a given sale price. His objective is to find a buyer as soon as possible by highlighting the positive, and selecting a price that matches closely what the market can bear in the area at a specific time. If the seller accepts the suggested price – especially if it is lower than what was expected – the sale will happen quickly. I cannot recommend Rafael Barbosa most highly and I wish to stress that sellers should trust him and his judgment.

Looking for a new apartment can be a nerve-wracking experience. That is why I am delighted to report that I had an outstanding experience when searching for my newly purchased co-op apartment due to the professional expertise of realtor Rafael Barbosa. He patiently helped me by guiding me through the process and by giving me his expert advice every step of the way. Last year, during October 2020,Mr. Barbosa showed me three different apartments for sale in Riverdale, New York. When none of the three were exactly what I was looking for he did more research and later showed me three more apartments available for sale. One of the three were exactly what I was looking for.
Today I call that apartment my home and I am so grateful to Mr. Barbosa for his diligence and for understanding what I had in mind. He followed me into the purchase process, and I knew that I was dealing with the right realtor. Everything went through in a timely
manner, and I moved in by early June 2021. My new apartment is my dream home, and I would recommend Mr. Rafael Barbosa to anyone I know who is looking for a new apartment or home.
