I met Randy at the very beginning of my real estate journey. In fact, looking back I met him at a time where I had no idea that the journey ahead of me would be a life changing one.

At the time, I was in the middle of completing my real estate course and certainly did not have much to offer Randy and his team. For perspective, I came into real estate not knowing much about the industry or what it truly meant to be a realtor. Fueled on nothing but a dream, Randy had offered me to join his team meetings to get a better idea of the day to day as a realtor.

Without even knowing it then, Randy had given me more than an opportunity to learn. It was the boost in confidence I needed to believe in myself and the reassurance of the direction I wanted to go. It was also the motivation I value until this day that played a huge part in me passing my real estate exams and allowing me to hit the ground running.

Something I now know, not many others in this industry would have done so willingly and genuinely. Yet, as grateful as I am to have just been given a chance. It was the constant push and challenge Randy has encouraged since day one that truly reassured me, I could not have chosen a better mentor.

In fact, just a day into being officially licensed Randy had encouraged me to hold open houses. Definitely something I had to step out of my comfort zone to do yet, gained the most invaluable experience from. Not to mention my first clients, and my very first closing soon after. A prime example of being mentored by someone who truly believes in you.

Since then, I have accomplished more in this industry than I could have ever imagined. Not only have I been able to pursue a career in which I have always longed for but the countless of opportunities and people I have been able to connect with through Randy has truly been life changing.

Truthfully, for many reasons personal and otherwise, my real estate journey has not come with ease. Nonetheless, no matter how big the obstacle or how deep in defeat I had certainly been. I have always had a friend in a mentor who has guided me and instilled nothing but purpose and confidence in me every step of the way. A mentor who has asked more times than I can count… “How can I help?”

Yet, what truly made it all worth it, is the invaluable knowledge, experience, and most importantly, the friendship, and honor it has been being mentored by Randy himself. I have thanked him a million times yet, he will never truly understand how grateful I am to have just been believed in.

Needless to say, Randy Bacon is one of the most genuine and selfless people I know. One of whom, has impacted my life for the better. Both in real estate and in life altogether. Randy, thank you for taking a chance on me and most importantly for the constant reminder to “always be yourself” and no matter where this journey takes you, to “never ever give up!”
