About Randy

Randy Kramer has been a resident of the Des Moines metro area for 30 years. he currently lives in the downtown area but has lived all around the Des Moines area. He graduated from high school in Pocahontas, Iowa; attended Central College in Pella, Iowa for my undergraduate studies; and he procured his Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law.

He has been a practicing attorney in Iowa for 30 years with Nationwide Insurance where he led a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. He retired from Nationwide decided to obtain his real estate license. As an attorney, he has developed and kept the ability to quickly read people and negotiate matters. These skills have been invaluable in real estate also.

Randy believes in the need to give back and has been active in charitable organizations all his life. He is currently on the board of Children's Cancer Connection which is extremely rewarding. He is an avid bicyclist and likes to hit the trails of central Iowa as often as possible. And although he is a University of Iowa graduate, he has a sweet spot for Cyclone athletics. As his friends hear him often say, there is no room in his heart for hate and believes one can support both programs. He has a weakness for cars, both vintage and exotic. And he will not turn down a craft beer.

He is a people person and real estate allows him to meet all kinds of different people while helping them find that perfect home or property. Randy’s goal is to find clients exactly what they want. He’ll invest the time and effort necessary to do that. That is his promise.
