About Ravender

Ravender is the Owner/Broker of Verma Realty Group, LLC doing business as Attorneys Advantage Realty and a founding partner in the Bethesda Office of The Langley Law Group, LLP, and a frequent lecturer for Title Companies and Real Estate Companies on the legal implications in real property transactions.

Ravender was born and raised in the DC metropolitan area, graduated from Albert Einstein Senior High School, and then obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland in 1993.

In the two years between undergraduate studies and law school, he worked at the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office and volunteered at the Montgomery County Humane Society.

He earned his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1998 and enjoyed a successful six-year active duty tour as a U.S. Army JAG Captain taking me to Fort Bragg and Fort Meade, respectively.

While serving in the U.S. Army as an attorney, he was able to defend soldiers in federal court, assist soldiers with their consumer law issues, and advise high ranking Army officers.

Ravender brings years of experience in estate planning, landlord/tenant, and real estate sales. He also has extensive experience in taxation. With an LLM (master of laws) in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, and a successful real estate brokerage in the DC Metro area, he’s completely capable of handling the most valuable asset you own in a light most favorable to you.

In 2004, he joined forces with Universal Title, LLC as a settlement attorney and conducted hundreds of real estate closings. In addition to a strong educational and transactional background, he’s been a licensed real estate broker since 2002 and a licensed attorney since 1998.

He is currently licensed as an attorney in Maryland and the District of Columbia, and licensed as a Real Estate Broker in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

His knowledge of real property, tax, and contract law along with his transactional real estate brokerage experience gives him the upper hand in assisting you through your unique perspective on the settlement process.

He specializes in real estate sales, real estate settlements, and the resolution of real estate contract issues.

He and his wife, their 14 year old son and 12 year old daughter reside in Bowie, Maryland. Ravender’s "never enough" attitude has "Raised the BAR on Real Estate" transactions and the practice of law.
